Common Questions

Before You Start Selling Online

How long until my store is live?

Two to three weeks for a storefront when your catalogue and images are ready. Marketplace approvals add one to three weeks on top, and that part is not in our hands — Amazon and Flipkart run their own category approval, brand registry, GST and bank verification checks at their own pace.

Do I need a GST number to sell online?

For marketplaces, yes — Amazon and Flipkart require a GSTIN for almost every category, and ONDC requires one. Your own storefront can operate below the registration threshold, but you cannot raise a tax invoice without one. Our tax division handles the registration if you do not have it yet.

What will it cost me to run every month?

Beyond our build, you pay four things directly and we do not mark any of them up: hosting and domain renewal, the payment gateway’s per-transaction fee, courier charges, and marketplace commission or referral fees. We put realistic figures for your category in front of you before you commit, not after.

Can I sell on my own website and on marketplaces at the same time?

Yes, and that is the point of the catalogue sync. One product list is pushed to every channel, and stock decrements wherever the sale happens, so you do not oversell an item you no longer have.

Do you handle packing and shipping for me?

No. We build and maintain the machinery — store, payments, labels, tracking and alerts — but fulfilment stays with you. We are honest about that up front rather than discovering it in week three.

What happens with returns and RTO parcels?

Return reasons are recorded against the original order and its transaction, refunds are triggered through the gateway rather than settled informally, and marketplace weight-discrepancy claims are tracked so deductions get challenged instead of absorbed.
